In compliance with applicable regulations, Sintesi also intends to engage external parties to carry out specific activities outlined in the project. To this end, it is issuing a Call for Expressions of Interest aimed at identifying Economic Operators with the appropriate expertise from whom to procure goods and/or services within the scope of the SITES project.

Reopening of the Submission Period

From October 1 to 30, 2025, expressions of interest may be submitted to identify economic operators with the appropriate expertise from whom to procure goods and/or services within the scope of the SITES project.

The documents related to the call for expressions of interest (the Call for Expressions of Interest and Annex A to the Expression of Interest) are available upon request by emailing info@e-sintesi.it.

The SITES Project

SITES aims to develop an intelligent system for promoting regional tourism through the integration of advanced digital technologies: artificial intelligence (AI), spatial data infrastructure (SDI), and analysis of big data from telecommunications. The project aims to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the tourism sector through:

  • the collection, management, and analysis of territorial and tourism data;
  • the development of thematic maps and indicators for assessing the impact of tourism;
  • the implementation of open and interoperable digital platforms to support public and private decision-making;
  • the launch of co-design processes (living labs) with local stakeholders.

A distinctive feature of the project is the use of aggregated and anonymized data, which allows for the analysis of actual mobility and tourist flows with high spatial and temporal precision.
